New Approach
Instead of calculating run times manually, simply enter how many millimetres of water you want to apply. Water to Grow automatically calculates how long to run your sprinklers for, to deliver that amount.
Different sprinkler groups apply water at different rates - for example, half-circle sprinklers usually apply water twice as fast as full-circle ones. The system handles these differences automatically for each group.
Benefits
No more guesswork or manual math to figure out run times for your target water volume. Once you set the application rate for each sprinkler group, the system adjusts the run duration automatically to deliver the exact depth of water your crop needs, saving you time and preventing over- or under-watering.
Examples
If you set a sequential watering program for a 10mm application, the system works out the exact run time for each sprinkler based on its capacity - in the example below, running for a total of 7 hours and 45 minutes across all groups.
Easy to Implement
Your existing programs won't change unless you choose to update them, so you can transition at your own pace. The new feature works seamlessly with all existing Sprinkler Valve Controllers (both V2 and V3 models). All sprinklers can be set up in a with a common application rate, with those with different application rates adjusted as needed.
