The Problem
Standard watering schedules run the same sprinklers at the same time every day. If it’s often windy at a certain time of day, your pasture / crops might not get even coverage because the wind blows the water off target.
The Solution
Our new Randomise Sprinkler Sequencing feature varies the sprinkler sequence across the week, so the same areas are not always watered at the same time of day. This can help reduce repeated exposure to typical daily wind patterns. .
Example
A programme can use a different sprinkler sequence for each day of the week. In the example below, each sprinkler runs for 30 minutes each day, but its start time varies.
Simple Setup
Updating your existing schedule is easy - just hit the new Randomise button. This feature is available for all existing Sprinkler Valve Controllers (both V2 and V3).
Availability
This feature will be available to all Water to Grow customers in our Spring ‘26 release, coming this September.
